By midweek, anyone paying attention to #NYC2013 was talking about whether a certain former Congressman with a career-destroying penchant for social media would jump into the mayor's race. Quinn lashed out at the producers of the ad, a group of left-leaning labor organizations and other activists who have long been opposed to the councilwoman's bid to be the city's next mayor.

GOP Consultant O'Reilly is so busy attacking the WFP as anti business that he misses the most important fact about the future of the WFP.  He say the WFP was previously investigated for election fraud. WRONG. SI DA Donovan last year reopened his investigation of the WFP attempt to defraud the city's matching fund program. Which ever business pac hired O'Reilly should demand their money back.  By the way the new WFP investigation if it results in charges could knock down the de Blasio campaign for mayor.

In Newsday, political consultant William F. B. O’Reilly mocks the Working Families Party’s efforts on state campaign finance reform because of the party being previously investigated for election fraud.  The WFP and its cohorts are here to clean up New York politics this time. It says so right on the WFP website.The WFP-led coalition, calling itself the Fair Elections for New York Coalition, would have us believe that so virtuous are its intentions, that between $750,000 and $1 million has rained down on the group in the past few weeks to advance its high-minded cause. That money, which fell from the sky like manna from reform heaven, will be used on television ads beginning next week attacking "the big money crowd."

Buckley Jr. who ran for Mayor as the Conservative Party candidate in 1965,” she explained. “Buckley knew he wouldn’t win but he used the opportunity to push a set of ideas that would eventually take root under President Ronald Reagan.”
